The second series of the rebooted Gladiators wrapped up with its grand final on Saturday night. Two contestants have now been crowned the latest champions of the BBC game show by its hosts Bradley Walsh and Barney Walsh.
This year's winners of Gladiators are gym owner Amanda Wah and gymnastics coach Joe Fishburn. They triumphed in the grand final after competing against supply teacher Aneila Afsar and youth worker Mus Dumbuya respectively.

Amanda, hailing from Warrington, and Joe, from Scarborough, follow last year's champions Marie-Louise Nicholson and Finlay Anderson. Marie-Louise and Finlay clinched the first series of the BBC's revival of the show.
This year's grand final saw Amanda tackle the Eliminator 1.5 seconds behind Anelia. She managed to catch her up on the rope climb though and completed the course in a record breaking time of 1 minute 18 seconds for the series.
Amanda was originally set to compete against personal trainer Zavia Hill in the grand final.

However, Zavia had to withdraw from the competition due to an injury, with Anelia - who was the fastest female runner-up in the semi-finals - then announced as her replacement for the final, reports the Mirror.
In his final game of the contest, Joe had a six second head start on Mus as they went into the Eliminator in this weekend's episode. Despite Mus' efforts, Joe soared up the travellator to set a new Eliminator record of 55 seconds.
Amanda was over the moon about her victory and reminisced about her childhood dreams, saying: "This is a dream come true having watched Gladiators as a kid, aspiring to be someone as good as them, and now here I am.

"I started off in my living room last January saying I could take on the Gladiators, thinking how easy it looked. Fast-forward and I'm here living the dream and it didn't finish until I lifted that trophy."
When asked about her most memorable moment, Amanda revealed: "Honestly going toe to toe with the Gladiators, what an experience! They are professionals, they are the pinnacle and they are the best of the best.
"We step into their world and play their game for 11 weeks and it felt like we were on work experience."

Joe, also a winner, shared his elation but found it hard to articulate: "I don't quite have the words to describe it. This is definitely the best thing I've ever done. Winning this just means the absolute world."
He spoke fondly of the final battle and his competitor: "We were in an amazing final, and I felt like I already won coming into this process but obviously it's always nice to complete the whole thing and take the win.
"Mus is an amazing opponent, contender, friend, everything he does is so amazing and it was an honour to be in the final with him."
Joe shared his experience on Gladiators, saying: "Before I set off on the Eliminator, I have one thing on my mind and that's to focus on what I'm doing and do the best run I can.
"Mus is an amazing contender, so I really had to put the work in, and going through that paper in the final has got to be one of the biggest highs."

He added: "I've met some amazing people on Gladiators and made some friends for life and winning this just seals the deal. One of the best bits about the show was the journey I've been on."
